So by now everyone should be more or less in the Christmas mood (or stress?) Fortunately, I already have all my presents and can spend the days home thinking about Christmas treats and desserts.
I will make three different desserts for three different Christmas feasts.
Maybe you guys want to surprise your families and friends with a vegan dessert that everyone will love?
I actually really enjoy the faces of people when I am telling them that the rich, decadent chocolate mousse they just devoured was made all sugar-free, vegan and without any additives.
I created a little list of 10 dessert ideas I really like. Some of them are from me and others are from really inspiring bloggers I’ve been following for a while.
Have fun scrolling down and I hope you get into that SWEET SWEET Christmas mood
CHOCOLATE GINGERBREAD BROWNIES
It is actually kind of a downgrading when calling these Babies just BROWNIES. There are more than just brownies they have a fudgy ganache topped with cinnamon dust and that is what makes them special and the perfect Christmas dessert.
VEGAN NEW YORK CHEESECAKE
Most of the cheesecakes I’ve seen are made out of Cashews and sometimes with coconut milk or another non-dairy milk. Maybe a classical cheesecake can be a little bit too heavy after an entire Christmas dinner. This version is lightened up by substituting some of the cashews with semolina.
You will love the taste and there is still room for some glogg.
THE BEST VEGAN NUTELLA CAKE
Say hello to your new favorite healthy, plant-based Christmas Nutella Cake! The name Nutella might make you think about something unhealthy and proccessed but this Nutella Cake is made out of fairy dust and other unprocessed ingredients 😉
SUPER FOOD SWEET POTATO DESSERT FRIES
Ok, this is actually the dessert I am going to make for Christmas. I imagine a huge plate in the middle of the table and then there will be this huge mess of sweet potato fries drizzled with chocolate.
This is my personal Christmas Food Dream. Thank Minimalist Baker for this genius dessert!
This is actually not an entire dessert menu for Christmas. But it totally makes a nice addition to one. Further, it is a fun thing to make (also with kids!) You can substitute the pomegranate seed with dried raspberries, strawberries, all kind of nuts or more chocolate. BE CREATIVE
EASY RAW VEGAN CHOCOLATE MOUSSE
To make the chocolate mousse you need NO baking or cooking skills at all.You literally just combine the ingredients and let the Christmas magic happen. No one of your guest will believe that the chocolate mousse is actually vegan.
CREAMY CHOCOLATE- COCONUT NICECREAM JAR
I know that a lot of people (including me) craving Icecream for dessert. Well, this actually does not change even when the temperatures are below 0 degrees. Banana Icecream is the perfect alternative to sugar-loaded dairy Icecream and you can create almost every flavor you can think of just by mixing it with bananas. There is no need for any additional sweetener, as the ripe bananas give this dessert all sweetness it needs. I suggest doing a Chocolate Nicecream layered with pimped cinnamon infused banana Icecream. You can add cinnamon, clove or vanilla as much as you like. The glass can be decorated nicely with seasonal fruits.
RAW VEGAN TIRAMISU CAKE
Tiramisu is such a great dessert! The different textures of the layers make this my all time favorite dessert. It is very versatile and can easily be made as a Christmas version by doing a cinnamon layer or by decorating the top of the Tiramisu with a star made out of cinnamon dust. The Cake form makes quite an appearance!
VEGAN CHOCOLATE GANACHE PIE
What I love about this recipe is how easy it is to prepare. You just need a few ingredients, nothing fancy pansy. You will smell the roasted coconut crust through the whole house, which is, as I think a good thing. COCOOOOOONUT HOUSE!
DARK CHOCOLATE SHORTBREAD PIE
Last but not least
DEATH BY CHOCOLATE. Do I need to say more?
