I am always feeling a little weird writing such life Updates as I feel like no one really cares what I am doing in the next couple of months 😉 However, I am doing this for my friends and if you are interested, I warmly invite you to continue reading. If not you can still desist from here and unobtrusively sneak to the recipe for my heavenly Raw Vegan Blueberry Chocolate Tart.
So, before June, I have an exciting collaboration project with a well-known Swiss Company, for which we already filmed some footage! Stay tuned for this exciting project.
And then at the beginning of June it’s already time to leave for.. LONDON! Some of you might remember my blogpost where I told you how I got a spot at the famous Google Workshops in Zürich.I was beyond excited and felt that I am one step closer to where I want to be. Three months later, I find myself packing my stuff, all ready to take that flight, bringing me to London straight into the Google Offices. What sounds like a dream, is suddenly reality
Summer-Google-Me- London-Food-Foodies…I could continue forever!
Do you know what my best friends said to me when I told her I wanted to work for google? She said ‘your chances are one in a million,’ and I said, ‘Maybe I’m that one.’ And she said ‘You’re not.”And she was wrong, and whatever she thought she saw in me was wrong, because I am one in a million…and that is exactly what all of you guys are and you should start to strive for. You are the one! The one for someone, for something or even somewhere! You will find your love, the job you enjoy, the friend you trust or the place you belong.
I hope I can get many impressions from beautiful London and all the interesting people working at Google. Besides that, I hope I can meet up with some fellow foodies and experience delicious food places! A must is definitely the Mae Deli from Deliciously Ella. I am also keen to find the best vegan Desserts that London has to offer and eat my way through bakery’s, coffees, and pop up stores. Additionally, to all the food, I try to keep my ass fit and ready and use the internal gym of Google as many times as possible and explore the city while running at the river Thames. Another dream would be to attend a Yoga class high above the rooftops of London.
“Dear Londoners, I am always up for a good run and a good post run meal!”
So far so good. But what when I am back in Switzerland? What am I doing the rest of the year?
I never really got why H&R People ask the question of where do you see yourself in 10 years? And in my head, there is no meticulously reflected 10-year life plan but rather just my grocery list and the thought that I have to bring the trash down on Mondays.
So yes, I don’t really have a plan I just have some things on my list. I don’t want to disclose everything for now but let me give you some hints:
- Vienna (Julia, Angie, Klara and many more)
That was a short Update with the key points of my next months. Hope you enjoyed reading and if, by coincidence, you are planning on going to London this summer. Let me know! Also, if you have any tips or food hot spots!
