It has been last autumn when I learned about this food trend from New York called Cookie Dough Icecream. I am a huge fan of cookie dough since I made Cashew Icecream with Cookie Dough chunks. This post contains the recipes for 3 kinds of Vegan Cookie Dough which are free from refined sugar and full of nutrients.
When creating the three different flavors, I was really just playing around with common plant-based ingredients. I guess many of you will ask about substitutes for the oat flour. You can make your own oat flour really easy but just grinding regular oats. However, if you wish to try a different one, I would not use spelt flour (strange consistency) or coconut flour, unless you really want them to taste like coconut dough. The traditional one
The traditional one contains nothing fancy and for the chocolate one you just add cacao powder and a little bit more plant-based milk.
The third one is a peanut butter version, which I made for my flat made ‚cause that gurl loves peanut butter! For this recipe, it’s really easy to take almond butter or actually any other nut butter you fancy.
I really hope you enjoy this healthified version of Cookie Dough and I would be happy to see your very own verison on Social Media! Share it with my on Instagram @vanillacrunnch or leave a comment here!

I’m definitely going to try this and the vegan cookie dough ice cream! Been a huge fan of that recipe and I’ve been eyeballing it for awhile! Plus it’s so easy and the ingredients aren’t too complicated, either ^_^ thanks for posting!
Welcome ???? can’t wait to see your version! ❤
What a great idea! Love the photography too – makes me instantly want to eat cookie dough, haha! Just a quick tip from my side, in the recipe it’s a bit difficult to have an overview of the different ingredient lists for the different cookie doughs, maybe add some extra space in between the recipes?
Hei Vivian, thanks a lot for the feedback let me try to make that space 🙂
No problem!
Do you think you could replace the coconut sugar with for example a banana or maple sirup or something?
Maple syrup should work, also stevia or just brown sugar
I cannot wait to try this recipe out! Might I ask – where did you find that tiny star cookie cutter? I have been looking for one everywhere!
Hei Meg! Got this from a local super market in Switzerland. It was around Christmas time so you might be lucky around this time!
I love cookie dough, seeing this post has made me want to try all three of these!
Oh wow, this is amazing! I love all kinds of flavors of cookie dough! Have to say that I might want to try swirling the chocolate and peanut butter cookie dough TOGETHER in one cone. 😉
