Basic Vegan Waffles for beginners

  • 1 cup chickpea flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp baking soda
  • 3 tbsp sugar of choice
  • 2 tbsp almond butter
  • 1 tsp apple vinegar
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • ½ tsp powdered vanilla
  • a pinch of fine sea salt
  1. In a large bowl whisk together all the ingredients until you have a smooth consistency
  2. Add the apple vinegar last!
  3. Plug in your waffle iron and while it is heating up, put your pancake mass in the fridge. (I think my dad told me once to do so but I have no idea why :))
  4. Oil brush your Iron and prepare waffles according to your waffle iron's instructions
