Fall in love with this utterly delicious Vegan Coffee Tiramisu {gluten-free / paleo / no refined sugar } all made from plant-based ingredients.
The Tiramisu is inspired by the wonderful Audrey from Uncoventionalbaker.
Some of you might have seen that I made a Tiramisu Cake last month and I loved it so much that I made it again with some summer fruits! after making it I thought that an extra fruit layer in the Tiramisu would be quite nice…but you guys are creative enough to twist and adjust this recipe on your own!
So, speaking about Tiramisu it might look a little terrifying to make with all these layers and stuff. But believe me, it is actually a really easy raw recipe and there are no super fancy ingredients involved.
The only thing you use that might not be available in your super market (it funnily is in Switzerland, I don’t know why ;)) is cacao butter. Don’t substitute it with coconut oil as it is something completely different. Either leave it out completely or substitute with vegan white chocolate.
At this moment I think it is safe to say that Tiramisu is again my favorite dessert and beats brownies! I think it is pretty interesting how you can adjust a classical dessert like „Tiramisu“ with tons of mascarpone and eggs and sugar, with all natural plant-based ingredient and get such a yummi outcome?
You might have noticed that this recipe doesn’t come with any ladyfingers in it. I tried two vegan ladyfinger recipes but wasn’t really satisfied. If you guys know a good one please let me know in the comments, so next time I’ll try to incorporate them.
You can also make this recipe in a cake form then it looks like this: Raw Tiramisu Cake

what’s freshly grounded coffee, compared to finely grounded coffee (coffee powder)?
You can not make the base with a Vitamix, right?
Thank you 🙂

Do you use raw cacao powder or dutch processed powder?
