Strong is the new beautiful – Under Armour Event in St.Moritz
Hello lovely readers,
Last week my sister and I, were invited to the Under Armour Event in beautiful snowy, sunny (but extremely cold) St. Moritz, where Lindsey Vonn inspired us with her fighting spirit when talking about her new book “Strong is the new beautiful”. I was looking forward to this event for a long time since I really like the brand Under Armour (I first learned about it during my year in the US). The brand itself stands for dedication (I WILL!), power, strength, and stamina….

Little “After Christmas Detox” Food Diary
The day after all the Christmas days. I don’t know about you but usually, we celebrate between 3-4 (feels like 6) days. These are the best days with lots of food, laughter, talks and candles and cake. You know what I am talking about. This Christmas I did not let any voice in my head get through and I enjoyed all the food my family and me prepared. It was amazing but I am also glad to be back on track with eating, exercising and blogging. Today I made a little “detox” day dairy where I show you what I ate after Christmas. All plant-based things that are good for your body and help you to reduce cravings. I really hope you like this kind of post and if you scroll down at the very end of the post, you can read about my “I can do it until new year” challenge. Don’t miss it!
After finally getting up I was craving some water and so I made myself a huge warm lemon water . Lemon water is a great energy booster and refresher as our tissues are dehydrated and in desperate need of fluid to push out toxins. I try to drink it all morning but forgot during the last days. Nobody’s perfect right?!
Breakfast
- A tall glass of lemon water
- Smoothie with extra greens and bananas
So what I had for breakfast was this WINTER ANTIOXIDANT BLAST BLUEBERRY-PURPLE CORN SMOOTHIE but got rid of the agave nectar and added 2 handfuls of spinach for an extra boost.

What is your shit sandwich?
“Because if you love and want something enough—whatever it is—then you don’t really mind eating the shit sandwich that comes with it.”
This is a blog post about fear, creativity and shit sandwiches. – A blog post about my opinion, about finding your own personality and in the broadest sense a tribute to the fantastic book Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert and the great articles by Mark Manson, which both inspired me to write this.
Many people ask me where I get my ideas for blog posts. And this is where I might differentiate myself so much from other working professionally in that business. I don’t have an editorial calendar, no weekly blog post topic brainstorm wall, no “I need to post at least twice a week” aggressive voice in the back of my head. I am creative, I am chaotic and I can only write something good when I really feel it. That’s maybe one of the main reasons why I could never work in a 9 to 5 job and why I knew that I need to break out of these vintage patterns of having a “real” job.
This post does not originate from a single encounter yet is an accumulation of talks and negotiations I had with friends, bloggers, my family or total strangers. I need conversations, encounters, great books, but mostly people that get me thinking.
In the big magic, Elizabeth lists some of the things, why people do not do what they secretly want to do. And of course sometimes it is complicated but EVERYONE, yes also you reading this, has the power to take control of their own life and change things. So be honest with yourself and tell me if:
“You’re afraid that there’s no market for your creativity, and therefore no point in pursuing it?”
“You’re afraid somebody else already did it better? You’re afraid everybody else already did it better?”
“You’re afraid your work isn’t politically, emotionally, or artistically important enough to change anyone’s life?”

Raw Chocolate Bliss Ball with healthy greens
It’s Christmas soon and I guess I am not the only one, who already indulged on too many cookies? Well, I believe it’s totally fine, since Christmas is only once a year! And as for me it doesn’t always have to be unhealthy, store-bought cookies or chocolates; I prefer my own version of Christmas sweets that I don’t have to feel bad about it and I further sneaked in some greens that are good for my body.
Introducing you to my this years favorite “Raw Chocolate Bliss Ball with healthy greens”.
It’s funny how so many people know about the benefits of wheatgrass, spirulina, chlorella and all the other greens but obviously, have problems taking them because of the taste. As you might think that they don’t taste sweet and therefore don’t belong into a sweet recipe, I want to convince of the contrary. I think it’s truly amazing to sneak in some greens and superfoods without noticing their taste but still getting all the benefits. Want to give it a try?…
Aquafaba Chocolate mousse – 3 ingredients, vegan and glutenfree
What is Aquafaba? As fancy as it sounds, the trivial it is. So Aquafaba is the viscous canned chickpea liquid, you usually throw away when using the chickpeas. And today I am going to show you how to make a heavenly, vegan and gluten-free chocolate mousse out of Aquafaba.

Healthy Vegan Swiss Mountains Macaroons
Last week was already pretty stressful with everyone hyping around about not finding the right Christmas presents or complaining about the freezing cold weather outside. So, I decided to look myself in my flat for a day and do some soul baking. The result was these Healthy Vegan Swiss Mountains Macaroons dipped in dark chocolate.
They are not only very easy to make, they are also gluten-free, refined-sugar free, dairy free and delicious! They are not as fluffy as
gluten-free
refined-sugar free,
dairy free and delicious!
They are not as fluffy as traditional macaroons due to the ground almonds I added, but I really like the consistency as it reminds me of a nut cookie with a hint of vacation due to the coconut.
